| The Plough Inn was originally a coaching inn and its 17th Century roots are obviously apparent in the charming bar area. Original beams and a cosy warm decor make for a very comfortable atmosphere to relax with friends over a drink or three! | ![]() |

There are several real ales on handpump including three brewed on site by the Leith Hill Brewery (Crooked Furrow, Tallywhacker and The Beautiful South), as well as premium lagers, ciders and Guinness. A well chosen wine list offers some great examples of wines from around the world - including many available by the glass. If you fancy something a little stronger then you'll find a huge range of spirits, mixers and liqueurs. There are plenty of non alcoholic options too, including juice mixes and coffees - expressos, americanos and cappuccinos. During the day home cooked food is served to a very high standard, including a
traditional roast every Sunday lunchtime. A great way to relax after exploring
the miles of woodland trails accessable from right on the Plough’s doorstep. |

At nights (Tuesday-Saturday) the Plough Inn hosts its English Steakhouse - an intimate fine dining restaurant serving 21 day aged steaks from a local farm (as well as other dishes). A quiz night is hosted every week, as well as seasonal sports fixtures on TV in the back bar. Occasional events and live music are hugely popular, and you can find out more about these on our Facebook page. |
